Modern Healthcare reported that the American Hospital Association (AHA) has asked the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to “make available more information by March 1 and then delay the application deadline from March 12 to April 16” for the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement Advanced model. The AHA letter cited the need for more details and clarification of the methodology used to change target prices and also about how quality measures will be scored. In meetings on Capitol Hill last week, AAHKS urged CMS to address participant and patient issues and to make changes before the start on October 1. Full story.
