Two of the study’s authors, Anne DeBenedetti, MSc and Charles P. Hannon, MD, MBA addressed the question of what is the safest and most effective dose of intravenous (IV) dexamethasone administered during primary total knee arthroplaty (TKA)?
Of the 404 patients undergoing surgery across 11 centers, all were monitored for pain, nausea, vomitting and sleep. The patients were monitored for seven days postoperatively.
