AAHKS Comments on CMS IPPS Proposed Rule

AAHKS submitted our comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on their CY2023 Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System Proposed Rule. Our comments included expressing concern about the rising Medicare payment for DRGs while surgeon payment continues to decline, input on hospital-level Risk Standardized Patient-Reported Outcomes for elective THA/TKA and appropriate measure implementation for Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) measures.
