Last week, AAHKS submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for its Request for Information (RFI) on the Medicare Advantage (MA) program. Our comments focused on issues around prior authorization, which were informed by our March 2022 member survey about PA. AAHKS also discussed the reduction of payments under the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) as Medicare Advantage enrollment continues to grow towards 50% of Medicare beneficiaries. For more information, read our letter.
