This week, the American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates convened in Chicago, with AAHKS represented by Health Policy Fellow, Beau Kildow, MD. Relevant discussions included resolutions about appropriate use criteria, prior authorization, physician burnout and Medicare payment reform advocacy. AAHKS participates in the AMA through the Specialty and Service Society, Orthopaedic Section Council and Mobility Caucus.
