AAOS Launches DEI Grant Program

The American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons announced this week that it is now accepting proposals for its new IDEA (Inspiring Diversity, Equity, and Access) Grant Program. Per the AAOS website, the program is intended to provide resources for many types of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to support a diverse pipeline of individuals going into orthopaedics, foster DEI initiatives, and expand access to orthopaedic networking and education to diverse students and practicing surgeons.
