New Arthroplasty Journal Issues Published

The Journal of Arthroplasty has published the February 2024 issue online, with AAHKS members receiving print copies as well. Issue highlights include initial outcomes from a new type of ceramic head, outcomes and risk factors for re-revision due to trunnion corrosion and a national Medicare analysis of patient access to TJA care. Recent articles published in the open-access companion journal, Arthroplasty Today, include surgical techniques for restoring rotational and length alignment after femur resection and original research on commercially available would irrigation solutions. Arthroplasty Today is also inviting authors to submit research on “technological advances in arthroplasty” for a special issue covering AI, robotics, bioengineering and med tech.
