AAHKS welcomed 140 residents to our Resident Lab Course today. The day began with a Bioskills Lab that provided hands-on training in hip and knee arthroplasty techniques, followed by a working Business Lunch. The day concluded with a Cement Lab. Residents had to apply to attend both today’s Lab Course and the didactic Resident Arthroplasty Course, being held tomorrow morning beginning at 6:30 a.m. The Course includes both large- and small-group sessions, where surgical techniques and cases will be reviewed, allowing significant interaction with nationally renowned expert faculty.
