Research presented at the Orthopaedic Research Society Annual Meeting examined surgical site infection risk factors after total joint arthroplasty (TJA), Healio reported on February 25. Ingwon Yeo, MD and colleagues examined data from more than 11,500 patients who underwent TJA, using variables such as patient and procedure factors to predict surgical site infection.
