Support Dr. Phillips’ Legacy of Mission Work

The orthopaedic community continues to mourn the loss of orthopaedic surgeons Preston J. Phillips, MD, and Stephanie Husen, DO, along with two others killed during the shooting at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Phillips had been preparing for his fifth mission to West Africa with “Light in the World Development Foundation,” a nonprofit he cofounded to provide surgical services to those in underserved areas of Africa and the U.S. The Foundation is looking for an orthopaedic total knee/knee specialist to volunteer to take Dr. Phillips’ place on this Togo mission.
