Many people who have total joint replacement surgery say the surgery is life changing as they regain their independence, return to work and enjoy recreational activities again. The AAHKS Patient and Public Relations Committee has collaborated on an article that breaks down the total cost of a typical joint replacement surgery from pre-surgical visits through rehabilitation. Peer reviewed by the Evidence Based Medicine and Advocacy Committees, this article is available online and to share with patients. Read the article.
