Movement Is Life invites AAHKS Members to view a recently recorded webinar, “Racial Inequities – Fruit of America’s Poisonous Tree.” This talk addresses how political and racial determinants can create, perpetuate, and exacerbate systemic barriers for health that affect Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and other communities of color. Daniel Dawes, JD, Director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine and Co-Founder of the Health Equity Leadership and Exchange Network, moderated the discussion with several leaders in the field. AAHKS is a participating organization in Movement is Life. Watch the video here.
