AAHKS is in Istanbul, Turkey this week to co-brand the 3rd International Consensus Meeting on Infection (ICMI). This meeting brings together more than 1,000 surgeons and researchers from over 100 countries to develop a consensus document on protocol for treating infections in hip and knee surgery and other orthopaedic subspecialties. The nonprofit ICMI organization’s mission is to engage experts from around the world in creating compendiums of up–to–date recommendations to improve global orthopaedic patient care.
