The AAHKS Humanitarian Committee and Diversity Advisory Board worked with Nth Dimensions to co-host a “Clinical Correlations and Bioskills” workshop for local Dallas-area minority high school students yesterday. This early exposure helps encourage underrepresented groups visualize a career for themselves in arthroplasty and medical sciences. The AAHKS Women in Arthroplasty (WIA) hosted a Hip Revision Course on Thursday, welcoming surgeons or all genders, races and age to enjoy a networking hour and hands-on bioskills training. Today the AAHKS Diversity Advisory Board is hosting a Lunch Symposium addressing conversations about race in orthopaedics. This year’s Guest Society, the Egyptian Pelvis and Hip Society, was celebrated for their contributions to the educational experience at #AAHKS2024 during last evening’s International Reception.
