Three outstanding papers were presented with AAHKS Clinical Awards at the Annual Meeting:
- The James A. Rand Young Investigator’s Award was presented to Charles P. Hannon, MD, MBA, for the paper “What is the Safest and Most Effective Dose of IV Dexamethasone in TKA? A Multicenter Prospective RCT.” (Presented by Matthew P. Abdel, MD)
- The Surgical Techniques & Technologies Award was presented to J. Ryan Martin, MD for the paper “Synovial Fluid Metal Ions: Diagnostic Markers for Aseptic Loosening in Cemented TKA.” (Presented by James A. Browne, MD)
- The Clinical Research Award was presented to Simon W. Young, MD for the paper “Intraosseous Regional Diclofenac for Post-Op Pain Management in TKA.” (Presented by Ran Schwarzkopf, MD, MSc)
