AAHKS members are invited to participate in the 2021 Specialty Physician and Dentist Candidate Workshop on Friday, November 5, from 10:00 a.m.- 3:45 p.m. EST. This one-day virtual workshop is specifically designed for physicians interested in advocacy and politics. Learn a realistic outlook on how to run a modern and well-executed campaign for any elected office from School Board or City Council to the U.S. Congress from nationally renowned political consultants. Topics covered include how to develop a campaign plan, messaging and fundraising strategies, the importance of polling, and the pros and cons of various communication outlets.
