AAHKS is preparing comments in response to a recently released Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rule that would eliminate non-compete clauses. Specifically, all post-employment non-compete clauses would be considered an unfair method of competition and become unlawful; employers would be required to rescind existing non-compete clauses and to notify employees in writing to rescind.
