At the 2024 AAHKS Annual Meeting, the 2024 Clinical Research Award was presented to Simon W. Young, MBChB, FRACS, MD and co-authors for the paper, “Intraosseous Regional Diclofenac for Post-Op Pain Management in Total Knee Arthroplasty.” The award is given annually in recognition of outstanding clinical research in the field of hip and knee arthroplasty. The study assessed whether regional administration of an anti-inflammatory medicine would reduce post-operative pain after TKA.
